Meet the Magic Maker

Roey Mizrahi, owner and creative director

Roey Mizrahi Events is an intimate wedding planning and event design company specializing in modern, authentic, and memorable celebrations, founded with the belief that no two celebrations should look or feel the same.

I’m a native New Yorker who proudly calls California home, with 18 years of experience in the hospitality and events industry. I was raised in a diverse, fast-paced environment by entrepreneurial parents in the fashion industry, where I saw firsthand what it takes to build a business rooted in creativity, connection, and a deeply personalized customer experience.

From your story and culture to your passions, personality, and personal style, every detail is considered with intention. My goal is to create an experience that feels unmistakably yours.

When I’m not dreaming up celebrations, I’m making memories with my husband, David, and our family, usually with good food, great music, and a little adventure involved.

You’re building a life together while you’re planning the celebration that marks it. There are jobs to go to, dinners to make, trips to take, families to see, and a whole lot of life still happening. We believe your planning experience should leave room for all of it.

That’s where we come in. Whether you’ve planned nearly everything and need an enthusiastic partner to rally the team, or you want someone in your corner from day one, wherever you are, we’ll meet you there.

Our job is to make the process feel less overwhelming and a lot more like you: organized without being rigid, creative without being complicated, and polished without ever feeling too precious.

After all, the celebration should be a reflection of your story, not a template for someone else’s.

  1. A conversation

    It all begins just like your relationship did. Over coffee, or on a call during your lunch break, we dive into the details.

  2. A welcome questionnaire

    After that first chat, you’ll get a brief questionnaire to fill out, so we know what matters most to you.

  3. Your custom proposal

    A package built around your celebration. After that, the fun begins!

Questions we hear a lot

What if we need more than your packages include?

We’ve got you covered! We consider our packages foundational, which means we can always build upon them to create a package as unique as your relationship. Holler at us to learn more about the pricing of a curated package that suits your specific needs.

We’re not local, but our wedding is. Will that be a problem?

We will be your eyes, ears, and boots on the ground. We will organize calls and meetings according to your schedule and will attend any and all meetings on your behalf. Basically, we got you!

We’re trying to plan a wedding in less than 3 months. Is that doable?

If we’re available, count us in! We’ve planned full-scale events with short turnaround and never compromise on our standards and quality.

We want you to help us, but we’re getting married in Paris. Will you travel?

Oui Oui Cheri! Okay, so we might not be fluent in all the languages where we travel to, but we know how to translate a remarkable event anywhere we go. We welcome the opportunity to travel for our clients.
